Service was quick and size of plant was great but sadly there were so many brown leaves on my bamboo when it arrived and it has continued to decline ever since. Obviously the weather has been really cold for May but perhaps don’t sell products that need the weather to be warmer to survive or send a warning at least. I now have an expensive 6ft dead plant as the focal point of my garden and it’s not ideal, hoping it will perk up when the weather improves but it’s not looking good

I was a bit disappointed in the size of the plants. Less leaves than I expected and some had been knocked off in the post. I am hopeful that they will improve in the warmer weather.

the two laurels were nice and bushy although one of them had a grey fungi. currently being treated. It wouldn't stop me from ordering again.

I ordered 10 Prunus Lusitanica Brenelia 7 Litre Pot 120-140cm. On arrival the plants were in good condition but they only measured on average 90cm in height. When I spoke with customer services they resolved the issue by collecting the plants and refunded me my money.

I have put acceptable because two Monarda plants arrived with greenfly. I corresponded with a member of staff who advised washing leaves with soapy water. I'm not sure if this will work or not because I'm disabled and waiting for my garden help to arrive. I've put 3 out of 5 stars because I expect plants to have been inspected before they are sent out.

Request for review of plants before delivery received, also delivery now overdue as pre-ordered late April?

I drove to Grasslands to buy some compost/soil improver. I was told that there was none available and did not find staff who were around not particularly helpful. I ordered on line with no problem and the delivery driver put the order through the gate which was very helpful. Although Home delivery was fine I don’t feel inclined to visit in person.

I didn't have the vest experience I have to say . I ordered the Portuguese laurel on behalf of a customer. He is not at home at the moment there lore it was very important for me to be informed when delivery was taking place . I received an email advising delivery date . I went to the property and started preparing . It was only by chance after I had been there a while I checked my email to discover it had been cancelled . I rang and explained I need to know .I was informed I would receive a call or email when delivery was rescheduled . I didn't receive anything by chance a week later I went to water his garden and found the plants had been delivered at some point. I was furious but didn't feel it was worth complaining .This is unfortunately normal these days . The frustration for me was had those plants have been stolen it would have been my responsibility ! Unacceptable and I won't be using Grasslands again .I wanted to try and use a local firm . Sadly I was dissapointed .

Having been previously very impressed with Grasslands, I ordered a shrub that I couldn't get elsewhere in such a large size. Website said it was in stock. But after waiting for despatch info I was then told they had no stock. Payment was promptly refunded, but I'm still disappointed with the inaccuracy.

I ordered 2 large Camellia -pants after seeing examples of them on your website on 23rd March and payment of £100.99was taken. I received an e-mail to say it was dispatched on 26th March. I sent an e-mail on 30th March to ask where the package was as I couldn’t track it suing the number provided. I never received a reply. I then rang several times and eventually spoke to a young man he said the plants actually had been dispatched on 30th. We received them on Friday 2nd. Only after chasing them up with the courier. On unpacking one was fine but pretty droopy but the other had lost a lot of buds [ see photo attached] and needed a lot of work to get it looking half way decent. I know we live in the Highlands and always take that into consideration when ordering [ other plant companies do deliver within 24-48 hours] I am only making these comments as I was sent an e-mail to respond to the service. We were very disappointed having paid so much and I’m doubtful we’ll have any flowers this years

Ok- Product arrived 2 days later than original tracking info. Be aware that if you order a small tree the courier will not dispose of the large wooden pallet (1m squared) that it is strapped to for transportation. Customer services suggested I chop it up and take it to the tip which was a great inconvenience!

The bamboo is great however paying £20 to half pallet deliver it when the driver carried it to my door and I carried it in to the garden seems a bit much

The 4 hedging plants varied a good deal in terms of density/breadth rather than height. They were also noticeably different in terms of colour which surprised me-two seemed drier and with duller foliage. I’m hopeful that they’ll all take, but not sure at this stage-despite the fact that yew grows well in our free-draining soil and planting instructions and after care have all been complied with fully. It is not ideal sourcing plants from 200 miles away, but we used to buy from your nursery when we lived in Cheshire, and have always been impressed by the quality of your plants. The delivery driver did not ring ahead to advise of ETA which would have been helpful. The plants were very heavy to lift and some warning to customers of this fact would be desirable. If this review seems critical, I was impressed by your website and ordering process. Yew is just such an expensive solution that I do have some reservations about the quality of your plants on this occasion. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for them getting established at this early stage. Graham Crawforth

The yews were in very good condition when I unpacked them but if the weather had been any warmer or the parcel had been delayed it would be a different story as the roots were not wrapped in any damp material just bare so very liable to drying out. Luckily I opened the package immediately on delivery and jump them in water to rehydrate

Plants seem healthy enough. However, they were delivered in a large box affixed to a pallet. Driver would not take back the pallet so now I have to get rid of it somehow! Ridiculous; and what would you suggest an elderly person or someone without a car did?

A bit difficult to comment when I haven’t received the goods or a date when they will be delivered!

Yew plants were very good, delivery quick and well timed, the only I would suggest is that the yews would have done better if they were wetted before sending or placed with compost around their roots. they were very dry by the time they arrived, but I did unpack them immediately and gave them a soak, so thanks a lot

The person who dropped off the plant bluntly refused to take it to the back garden even though this was specified / requested at the time of placing the order. The huge plant was left on my front porch.
