“We bought an Acer tree recently from Grasslands, the girl who served me was very helpful and delivery of the tree was timely and efficient. I would recommend Grasslands to anyone especially if you need advice & help on what to buy.”

“Hedge plants appear fine, but the delivery process was really frustrating. I ordered the plants and received an immediate confirmation email, which was great. Three days later I got a message saying “we’ve started digging… we’ll send an email shortly to confirm delivery.” Then nothing for 14 days. I received another update saying the order had been completed, along with a tracking number. The tracker suggested delivery would be attempted in a couple of days, I stayed home to take delivery but no delivery happened. A few days later I received another delivery notification, this one had a specific delivery slot. The slot came and went with no delivery, and the status tracker changed to 'delivery abandoned'. After chasing, I got another delivery notification with a time slot that afternoon. In the end, the plants arrived 26 days after the “we’ve started digging” email. The plants themselves seem fine, but the communication and delivery experience was really poor.”

“Overall very happy. The only negative was the text received stating ‘digging has begun, expect imminent delivery’ then 2 weeks later I had to chase my delivery up.”

“I picked up 80x Green Privet bare root 60-80cm that were ordered late September. Every one was the correct size, viable and in good condition. At my request Grasslands held the consignment back for me a few days due to a family bereavement. Lovely cafe, we had a coffee and set off home. Great nursary with helpful staff.”

“Have bought many plants from Grasslands and every time I have been delighted with the excellent service, good communication and delivery information. The plants are very good quality; I generally purchase bare root - my latest delivery was cherry laurels - and they have been given care and attention when lifting and establish very well when they're in the ground. Lovely full leaved and healthy plants. Really great nursery to buy from with a fantastic selection of plants and trees.”

“Very disappointed, my hedging came with almost all the root bowl cut off, lower branches removed and broken branches. I have planted over 200 beech hedging plants and these are we poorest by far. Grasslands don't want to know and do not care. Shop elsewhere.”
