“Very pleased with the mature Photonias I bought from Grasslands Nursery. They were excellent specimens - both in terms of size, shape and condition. I expected 1.8m plants and that’s at least the size they were, as well as being well formed and in excellent condition. Couldn’t be more satisfied. Thank you!”

“Top quality plants arrived undamaged and well packed, can’t wait for them to flower in the Summertime. I bought Rhododendron’s, Irises & Libertia, all in great condition in pots with lovely soil. Will look perfect in my Japanese style garden.”

“The cheapest pleached trees we found, wasn’t sure what the condition of them would be like but we was delighted when they arrived! Great size, condition and very helpful delivery man who carried them into our back garden (my husband is in a wheelchair). Highly recommend”

“I bought a multi stemmed amalanchia and was very pleased to find it. I had it delivered to Leeds, so the total cost to me was about £150. When it arrived, I was disappointed. It had three main stems, but they had not been pruned correctly so they were growing across each other. If I pruned it correctly now, I would only have one stem left. I have had to try to rectify the problem by putting in three linked tree stakes and bending the branches outwards. I can understand that if this was one of the last plants available, it might not be the best. Considering it’s poor form, I think it should have been sold as a second at a discounted price.”

“Plants arrived damaged. I contacted Grasslands immediately: via phone and email. I also sent images. Over the course of six days I was first told to plant them anyway, asked to send more images and told a manager would be consulted. I asked for the plants to be returned. I wasn’t offered a refund or replacement. I’m an avid gardener who very regularly buys plants - mostly directly in-person from garden nurseries, but I’ve made about half a dozen online purchases. I never had to ask for a replacement or refund. The customer service I received is really disappointing.”
