“Having ordered three ilex Jennys, they were sent to us by the Royal mail .two of them in one box and one in another. Although they were not damaged one of the 30 cm balls is only half developed as the back half has nothing there. Must've been grown very close to another one and shoots didn't develop. Contacted the nursery to ask if they could replace it and they said it would grow within a week. It's been a week now and there is absolutely no growth whatsoever never mind making it up to a 30 cm ball. Although the plants look very healthy, I would've thought that they would of sent a replacement.”

“Grasslands Nursery offers a good variety of plants to choose from, which is great when planning larger garden projects. The discount offered on larger orders is also quite generous and definitely a positive. However, the delivery time of around 10 days feels quite slow, especially when compared to other suppliers. In terms of quality, my experience was mixed.”

“Ordered products were not delivered to the correct address. The replacement products were also delivered to the same wrong place. No other delivery agent has had trouble delivering to ourn address. the plants were in poor condition due to the delay. Had trhey arrived on time they would have been very acceptable. Delivered to an unoccupied property. When owner visited they kindly brought the package (incorrectly left on its side and damaged) to us. We are trying to keep the plants alive.”

“I have previously always been delighted with orders from Grasslands so I was a bit disappointed when my latest order arrived to find one of the three Heleniums ordered was a bit damaged and not of the usual quality. This might have been due to a slug being packed with the plants, which I found on opening the delivery.”

“I ordered a gift voucher for our son's birthday. I wrote a short message but needed to say more. Contacted Grasslands to ask them to add on but this they could not do and no means for me to do on line. There was plenty of time to make amendment. Disappointed with the. attitude.”

“I planted the privet within 4 days of receiving them in 2 bags of compost in rainy weather, watered them regularly, one is perfect 5 are showing signs of life but the remainder are looking lifeless. The reason I have not completed your feedback is to give them a chance to grow. What I can't understand is why one is perfect, 5 are showing some kind of life and I think the rest are dead. Pleased with your service but very disappointed with results.”

“Good delivery and a very healthy plant Not the Portuguese laurel ordered but a cherry Laurel substitute. I have had a portuguese laurel in the past and this plant is not the plant I ordered .SorryGrasslands ,not up to expectations ,and a serious breach of service”

“Delivery and communication good. My 10x Robusta bamboo plants were smaller than expected tbh and pretty thin with multiple dead or damaged leaves. I watered them on arrival and planted them the following morning. They’ve been watered daily since but the jury is out on whether they will prosper. Still a bit pale. We’ll see.”

“The potted Hydrangae I received looked nothing line the picture on line with the female gardener holding a very good specimen. But I will carefully plant what you sent and tend it lovingly in the hope that it will strengthen and produce the large white blooms I want”
