“Arrived bad state....unusable Requested refund with minutes of receiving package crushed and blackened leaves which must have been lying around for some time Refund not actioned - just ignored Unfair”

Hi Maria, I have check on your order, you have ordered Hawthorn Hedging bare root, This will have brown leaves at this time of year, Its quiet normal. These leave will fall off and in the spring the new green leaves will come through. Kind Regards Paul

“I've used grasslands previously and the delivery driver was very good unfortunately my last order the driver was told to phone me an hour before arriving he didn't with the poor excuse his phone wasn't working”

“I've been a professional gardener in one way or another for over 40 years and never ordered plants online before, being very nervous about doing so. I have to say I had no need to worry with Grasslands Nursery. The plants are better than anything I could have found locally, outstanding quality, and service was terrific. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.”

“Plants appeared to be healthy. However, the soil in the pots was dry and needed watering immediately on arrival. As shown in the sample photographs, all 250 plants were rootbound and had to be carefully unpicked before planting. All of the Grasslands staff contacted by telephone prior to ordering were polite, helpful and professional. The driver who delivered the plants was blunt, dour and seemed only to want to get away when I insisted on counting the plants. The delivery was a day late, but to their credit, Grasslands emailed to say the driver was unwell and the order would be delivered next day.”

“This is the third time I've ordered from Grasslands Nursery, this time I have ordered some potted yew hedging (to replenish some failed bare root yew planted over a year ago) and some topiary spires. Both the yew and topiary arrived in good condition and seem to be very healthy plants. Asked for a later delivery date which was no problem. Overall very pleased with Grasslands.”
