“Great service and really like the fact that I can see images of the actual plants so I can gauge the size. My plants were also delivered quickly and with care. Definitely worth buying from.”

“Was recommended by a friend who has used many times. Online ordering was very easy, helpful lady on the phone when I needed to add some other items to my order which I had forgotten to order. Everything then delivered within the time stated. I wasn't in when the delivery arrived but driver left everything where I had said to. I ordered 19 large shrubs for hedging plus some smaller plants all of which are great. A very happy customer my garden is transformed.”

“Grasslands are my number one for all plants and hedge needs, the kind people and the quality of service are second to none. On this occasion, 7 leylandii trees arrived from Cheshire down to Brighton in East Sussex all before midday on the designated day that's because they have their fleet of trucks so are not reliant on a third party for delivery.”

“Order No: MCK-B15DE Ab gobsmacked by amazing service. Ordered three Aucuba Picturata that we could not source here in Essex. Prices and delivery charges were excellent and when we got the delivery today ie 4 working days later the Quality of the plants was fantastic. Would def use these guys again. Well done and thank you. “Ordered 14 x Privet Hedging Plants (10 litre pots at 125 / 150 cm tall). Arrived within a week OK but plants were loose and scattered about the lorry (most of them tipped over) and therefore not packaged or banded in anyway. Nonetheless, they survived the journey relatively undamaged. No complaints about the height of the plant at 5ft - 6ft tall but this was the issue....very tall and spindly. Have completely cut them down in height to 10 inches to get them to bush out (see photos). Grasslands should follow their own advice and cut them down by 50% per growing season. Could see that this had not been done and that they had been grown for height and had not been trimmed for a year or two. All nurseries are the same I suppose as many customers seem to be more impressed with height than thickness. At the end of the day I suppose you are paying for the age / establishment of the root and in this respect they are fine. Average score, as no better / no worse than other nurseries I have bought from. Plants not quite as good as the pictures even when considering we are still early in the growing season for these semi-evergreen plants. Overall OK, no major issues.”

“Good service and advice. The trees were exactly the same quality as those shown on the website. Even the delivery was slick - 2 pallets delivered and on the drive before I could even open the front door.”

“Prompt delivery. The delivery driver was a young lad. He was so polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the plants and company policy. A true credit to the company. All shrubs delivered were a good size and thriving.”

“We have ordered a couple of trees from Grasslands this year. Each time we've received a gorgeous tree, quick delivery and lots of care. We could plant it no problem and it has taken well. Love how these guys offer delivery and bring you a perfect tree every time.”
