“The hedging trees ordered were replacements for previously supplied bare root plants that had failed. The new items were well packaged in excellent condition and were well watered so arrived looking very healthy. The overall experience was spoilt by the push back I received when seeking some allowance for the previously supplied plants that fell below expectations. Hence 3 stars”

“Hi I have used grasslands nursery a few times for my landscaping business in Nottingham and I have always found them polite in service and punctual in delivery and they have great communication skills on any problems or enquiries i had.I would highly recommend these guys as their service is second to none.”

“Really impressed with the service down to the delivery driver who was polite and carried the plants to my door. Unfortunately a third of my plants were damaged , Grasslands replaced them without a fuss and delivered replacements a few days later. Very pleased.”

“Charged a seemingly arbitrary ‘adjustment fee’ of £33.24 after returning plants bought online within the 14 day cooling off period despite being told by customer services that I would only be charged for postage. Had to chase up refund after 3 weeks and then when it did come this adjustment fee was charged and so I have been short changed.”

Hi Rory, Thanks for your review, I have looked at your order It looks like you ordered the wrong items. I can see that we refunded your order minus the cost to return the items. This is only to cover our cost of getting the items back here. It just calls it an Adjustment Fee on the paperwork. Hope this clears it up. Thanks Paul

“Very pleased with my 2 x 15cm Buxus plug in hedging . They were very healthy plants. I bought them 3 weeks ago and are doing well. I,ve ordered another two trays. Easy to plant with a garden trowel and fork, hoping they with fill between my old hedges to make them more thicker and less sparse !! Thank You!”

“Easy to navigate online store. Lots of choice and wide variety of plants. Straightforward shopping experience. Email interaction was first class, as I had a few queries to finalise order. Delivery of plants far exceeded expectations, as they arrived within days. Overall a very happy customer and will happily shop with Grasslands again in the near future.”

“I have previously purchased from Grasslands on numerous occasions and have been extremely happy. Having just recently spent over £1000 on Cherry Laurels, which should of been between 1.8 m -2.0 m I returned 7 as they were undersized. I would of returned more of them, but I had no option due to the fact I was paying a land scape gardener and time is money. On receipt of the returned laurels Grasslands stated they were not undersized and deducted a re stocking fee, without any communication. I provided dated photographic evidence to the contrary. This has been extremely disappointing, subsequently I will not be using Grasslands again. Please check the height of your plants on delivery to ensure you receive what you are paying for.”
