“The order process was simple and straight forward and the communication was good. Delivery was on the date stated and the delivery driver was polite and helpful and the shrub looked very healthy. I would recommend Grasslands.”

“The plants are very good quality that I ordered. However, the delivery was not good. The drive left them at a completely different address (name and postcode!)... we did eventually find them and the people at the house let us pick them up.”

“We purchased and planted 8 pleached Photinia Red Robin trees from Grasslands in Nov 2020. 6 of the original trees died due our garden being largely made up of poorly draining clay soil. Grasslands we’re very helpful in trying to remedy the issue. After numerous emails - including sending photos and videos - we decided to dig out a large trench. We removed as much clay as possible around the area where the trees were being planted. We then laid down a bed of gravel and sand. Grasslands finally got the replacement trees back in stock and we planted them last week. I was hoping they would have honoured the original price for the trees, but a 20% discount was the next best thing. This time we backfilled the trench with high quality loam, and planted them slightly higher creating small mounds around the rootball of the tree. I also invested in the ‘H’ stakes they recommended for heavy trees. Hopefully now we’ve done enough to give the trees the best possible chance of survival🤞. Overall I’m happy with Grasslands and their support. The trees for out of stock for sometime, but eventually came back in stock. My only suggestion would be to give more flexibility to the customer when scheduling a delivery. Especially when they’ve spent a large amount of money with you.”

“Well established "Red Robin" delivered to elderly relative. Healthy plants in great condition, good access to driveway but the delivery went above and beyond in placing where they were to be stored. Great service, especially as to a third party.”

“Well done folks. Price was right. Turnaround time and communication was excellent. Trees arrived in perfect condition.,delivered by a competent carrier. Holes dug. Trees in place in three minutes. Bye bye neighbours. That'll learn you!!. Will be buying from you again. Three more boundaries, three more sets of people I detest.”

“Plant arrived in very poor condition, the roots were completely dried out and the plant was very limp. 2 of its 4 leaves were yellow and dying. Customer services blamed the warm weather and then never bothered to respond to my next email. For £30 delivery I would have expected a better service.”
