“I used Grasslands for the first time to buy a number of bare root Portuguese laurel 80 -100 cm high, after losing our fence in recent storms. I was extremely pleased with the original order so decided to place a second order for another 30 plants. They have an excellent tracking system for the delivery and I knew exactly when it would arrive. The plants were in general larger than expected and good quality for the price. I really only have one minor negative which was that the plants in the second order were less consistent in size and a number of them had very small roots, visible as I had removed some of the large unsightly sacking knots, which you do not need to do. I hope that with care, these plants will survive and this will not stop me from using Grasslands again.”

“Very helpful from the beginning. I rang as we were going on holiday and didn't want the trees delivered then. This was no problem for them. Delivery driver texted to say he would be with us in half an hour which we found very helpful. We had been told of the day they were out for delivery. The driver carried all the trees into the garden and was very polite and helpful. The trees were lovely very pleased with them.”

“Generally good customer service and products. I had an issue where the date agreed with Grasslands for delivery needed to be deferred due to a holiday, which they accommodated. However, the pallet shipment was not then delivered on the agreed day - the carrier aborted the delivery meaning the plants spent the weekend in a warehouse and I missed the day I had set-aside for planting. I'm now having to plant in small batches after work in the twilight, which is not what I had intended. The plants themselves are good - bigger and bushier than the picture on the website. Hopefully they'll establish well and our new hedge will be grown in within a couple of years.”
