“Excellent service, delivery and the tree is perfect and exactly what I wanted and as per their description. Whilst it seemed a lot of money I think it is good value for what I received when compared to what you see in local nurseries. Second tree I have bought from them and the first purchased a few years ago is thriving so hoping for the same for this one.”

“The established privet whips turned up on time and we’re in a reasonable condition although many of the leaves had fallen off - we are hopeful that now they have been planted this will not occur to such a degree next winter. All in all, however, a good service and the employees were very knowledgeable and helpful.”

“Great service from Zach. I have an issue with delivery times (saying within 2 weeks) makes it hard to plan big jobs. Zach spoke to the dispatch manager and sorted out a date for me.”

“The Portuguese laurels were great and slightly bigger than expected which was perfect. Unlike other orders , little disappointed they arrived in hessein bags only and not in black plastic pot , which did cause few problems as the hessein split and soil went all over hallways in building. But quality of plant again excellent !!”

“Plants as per photos on web site, not the case with some other nurseries. My only quibble would be if you buy 2 it's probably as a pair and it would be great if they had the time to pick a well matched pair. Other than that very pleased”

“Great service overall pre delivery , shame delivery driver didn’t check instructions to call before arrival. All taken in good heart and the hedge was in good condition so no complaints overall . Seems good quality will need to see how many come to life in the spring .”

“delivered as advertised plants appeared healthy, on taking them out of the pots all plants were waterlogged on the bottom third and really dry on top two thirds Have planted them so time will tell.”

“Ordered a passionflower caerulea which arrived promptly and was very well protected in its packaging. The plant itself has yellowing leaves (left photo), looks a little unhealthy, especially next to the purple haze passionflower that was bought in person that has rich green leaves and is thriving well (right photo). Hope it will grow healthier over time. A bit disappointed. Would order again from Grasslands, due to the reasonable price, good packaging and prompt delivery, but will perhaps give them a call after putting the order in to request a healthier plant to be delivered.”

“Ordering straightforward-good that you can see examples of what you`re buying! Prices OK . Great that delivery included on orders over £ & discount automatically applied. Very pleased with trees and shrubs delivered , although the Silver birch "heavy standard" still looks "a little tired". Delivery was problem-Notified by email 9.03 ON DAY OF DELIVERY!( driver already on the road) but luckily when I got there trees etc still safely hidden in front garden & we were able to move them ourselves..”
