“Beech bare root plants turned up when expected, well packaged. I was not prepared how small the package would be - 20 beech in parcel no bigger than a small Xmas tree. I was a bit worried they were no more than twigs! But once I got them out they were nice and bushy with nice healthy roots. Planted them straight away. Already had a frost and they seem unbothered. Overall pleased, only niggle is delivery was 30 quid which seems high. was advised this was because they wd need a pallet but this was not true at all and parcel was actually v small. Apart from that, all good and wd recommend.”

“first time customer of Grasslands. Found them on the internet as wasn't aware of them previously even though they are only 7 miles away from where I live. Plants were in great condition and ready for collection in a trolley. I have now planted them and new leaves are already sprouting. Looking forwards to growing my new Photinia hedge”

“I've had mixed experiences with Grasslands. A few trees have been perfect and others have been half the size as shown on the website. Overall I'd use them again but with caution if I'm looking for anything larger in size.”

“Well packaged. Arrived promptly. As I suspected they were neither as high nor as bushy as the image portrays but I’m quite happy as they soon grow.”

“Delivered promptly, far better than expected in terms of height and bushy growth, plants in a good sturdy condition with a large hessian wrapped root ball. Delivery was prompt once digging out commenced which l was advised about.Very happy with the goods and delivery service.”

“Good healthy little plants of the size ordered although they were rather root-bound. Delivered early, but they did not ring the doorbell & plants were just left in the front garden, very visible to anyone in the street.”

“Hi - admin and support on the phone were very easy and good. There was a bit of mix-up with the delivery date, but the support on the phone was very helpful in trying to rectify this, so all was okay in the end. I am dismayed with the number of leaves on my trees but I guess some of these may have blown off on the journey from Cheshire to Surrey.”

“Was not happy with first two trays i got.They were in a box about three times as bid as the trays.Some trees were not even in the trays.Did report this but it was no go. You just said plant them and they will be ok. Second batch i recived are as a should be”

“The plant itself looks good, and seemed to be well packaged. Delivery was quick. However, during transport the plants ended up falling outside of their pots, and luckily didn't get damaged too much, but may be worth talking to the couriers and make sure they are handling the plants with care.”
