“Tree growth was at lower end of spec, clearly “forced growth” lacking substance. Expensive and disappointing. Driver and service excellent.”

“Was not impressed with the way the delivery driver man-handled the pretty expensive hedging plants. They were dumped off the back of the truck and therefore some were damaged. Not really acceptable”

“We purchased three pleached hornbeams online last year and Grasslands were really helpful and prompt in emailing and delivery. The trees arrived with tiny hard buds and tbh looked dead! I emailed and was assured they should burst into action in the spring and that’s exactly what’s happened! Phew as they were very expensive! They were also difficult to handle/plant but my husband did a fantastic job complete with the posts and bars, also from Grasslands. He did need to hire a stake basher though as they are possibly a little over the top in size. Saying that, with the three recent storms they have stood firm! Anyway, just to say Grasslands trees are great and staff super helpful so don’t hesitate in buying from them. Too far for us to visit and we felt we took a chance purchasing such expensive trees online but all good and we really recommend Grasslands.”

“Good sturdy tree in bud with excellent root ball. Delivery instructions followed as I was not in, all good. Previously bought a red robin which is over six foot and in full colour.”

“The trees appear very good, however, although I was expecting them to be root balled, this was my first experience of this system and I would have expected a planting advice sheet to accompany them. I went on line for re-assurance. I would also have appreciated advice on staking together with the provision of stakes which I would have gladly paid for. I had to locate and drive some distance for stakes. All the trees are planted and tended in the hope their roots will penetrate the hessian and wire.”
