“Ordered 8 Cherry Laurel hedging plants. The plants themselves were excellent. Delivery took a little longer than I had hoped, as my order was grouped with others for a combined delivery. That said, it’s hard to judge what the industry standard is for plant deliveries. Overall, I’m happy with the plants, and I would use this service again.”

“I bought three climbers which were of excellent quality and value. I also bought a mature small tree which was very pot bound and had to be sawn out of the pot. It was also clearly suffering from being in the pot for too long. I bought on line so couldn't check the quality. Delivery was quick.”

“Plants, when they arrived, were absolutely perfect. Just what I wanted. Took an age to be delivered though - no suggestion while ordering that there would be a delay, and only discovered when I called to find out where the order was. Would have been nice to be informed”

“Service at the garden centre was good and we found a very nice specimen tree that we ordered and put a sold label with our name on it. Unfortunately, a different tree was delivered and had to be returned. The delivery service seems to be a little chaotic as we were given a couple of incorrect dates for re-delivery before we got our requested date. Sadly the tree was damaged in transit as explained and shown in the attached photos.”

“I ordered 2 leylandii (2.25-2.5m). Ordering process and confirmation of deal worked well. The trees were however taller than the inside of the delivery van so were bent over and slightly damaged towards the top.”

“The tree arrived a day later than stated on my massager. (Stated Wednesday but arrived late on Thursday) The box was battered and torn at the bottom, the tree itself was very dry and sad looking. I have planted it and hopefully it will recover. I have found lately that “Royal Mail” is really bad at delivering parcels. Such a shame. Not your fault, I’m confident that the little tree will be ok, I will take great care of it.”

“The plant was in transit a lot longer than was good for it (7 days) and looked a little worse for wear. Given some water and will plant out later so should be fine. The delay was no fault of Grasslands Nursery and I am pleased with the size of plant and secure packaging. Will ( and have) use(d)Grasslands Nursery again.”

“Tree delivered in excellent condition & health, slightly larger than anticipated (which was nice) and delivered promptly. Only criticism is the tracking isn't updated on Grasslands' website & there's no link provided to the courier's website, you have to search for it & manually enter your details to get delivery day & time.”

“The reason I haven't given 5 stars is because of the delivery. The plants were a day late arriving and when they did arrive the poor things were actually lying on their side with compost and bark chippings in the bottom of the box. There was damage to the plants (the box had obviously been dropped on it's side) but as the plants are perrenials it will not affect them next year. This is not your fault, it is entirely down to the courier.”
