“A pleasurable experience from our first viewing of an ancient olive tree with the cooperation of Mike who took us to choose the one we purchased to the very kind delivery driver who helped us to transfer the tree onto a smaller pallet for us to be able to move it through our gate with ease to its planting spot and we couldn't be more delighted with our purchase thankyou.”

“I am more than satisfied with the quality of the Beech Hedging that I purchased, also the excellent service. My only gripe is that I paid £30 for delivery which seems a lot for a package that could be carried in one hand.”

“Having had problems with my card when ordering online I telephoned Grasslands direct and a very pleasant and helpful lady sorted out my order for 3 Sorbus Olympic Flame trees and stakes. The trees and stakes were delivered in excellent condition and are now planted. They look good and I'm looking forward and waiting in anticipation to leaves appear followed by flowers and finally berries. Faultless and seamless service. Thank you to all concerned. David”

“Trees delivered as expected. Have purchased a number of trees from Grasslands and note price increases common to escalation in general. Used to be on the mailing list for offers but that stopped prior to Covid. Occasionally visit the nursery as an educational tree viewing walk before calling in at the excellent cafe. There is a homely feel about the place which could be easily lost if copying the rubber stamped commercial garden centres. Will no doubt be back for more !”

“I rang first for some advice on hedging as I am a complete novice when it comes to anything garden related. I was given great advice and placed my order online. Communication was excellent and delivery was very quick. The laurels I purchased were very healthy looking and they came with an advice sheet. All in all I’m really pleased and would highly recommend.”

“Very helpful staff on site. Unfortunately I did feel let down when I ordered a £280 tree on line. I had forgotten to order a stake at the same time. I rang the standard number to try to add the item, but was told I had to order on line. Tried to order on line but it was below the minimum order value. Tried sending an email ...didn't work, Then I ran out of time. Very frustrating. I would have thought the extra item could easily have been added to the original order . Didn't get my stake !”
