“Ordered 10 of the large cherry laurels. Healthy bushy specimens, arrived on pallets and rootballs in large pots topped up with compost. The delivery driver Alex was excellent and advised me on how to get them out of the pots and plant - ie tip them on their side , loosen and remove compost so you can take rootball out of pot, roll rootball onto a tarpaulin so at least two of you can drag move to planting position. This worked well , especially moving from drive through a 3 foot garden gate, we then carefully rolled each plant. Great price, especially with bulk buy discount. Would definitely use again.”

“I purchased 9 cherry laurels and one red robbin bush they all arrived very healthy looking mature bushes and grasslands kept me informed about delivery date and time frame Also very pleased with price as iam not trade the driver put the plants where directed”

“I ordered two large, mature Conitus plants in 10L pots and expected something that looked comparable to the picture on the website. I’m aware that plants are cut back and it would be starting to grow new leaves. What arrived were poorly packaged with a single piece of paper wrapped around the pots. Much of the soil and woodchips had fallen out. More importantly one of the plants was very much smaller than the one shown on the website so I emailed the company. Their reply was that the plant had been cut back and would ‘almost double’ in size over the summer. However where the braches had been cut back they were just a couple of mm thick (see the photo) meaning they were never much longer than they are now. Almost doubling in size in a year would still not be as large as the plant shown on the website. This is a small plant in a large pot and I’m sure no one would pay almost £50 for it in a garden centre. This is very disappointing.”

“Excellent value plants, which arrived in great condition (not always a given when shipping large plants!) and of superb quality. The tree trunks are straight, the branches well placed and the trees symmetrical overall (again something that can be an issue when mass grown). So glad we chose Grasslands, and will definitely order again.”
