“The two Japanese hollys arrived in good condition earlier than expected.they are now planted in pots and look great. So far so good”

“delivery was great very fast but unfortunately could not get plants out of the pots. Even my 20stone next door neighbour couldn't help. It took 3 days of banging on the pot with a hammer then going round the edge with a sharp knive. Also one of the trees still has no buds on which concerns me. I will wait another week to see what happens then I will contact grasslands again.I would not of purchased if I was told they were not in leaf.”

“Good plants but labels do not show the name of the plant "Frozen Flame" - what they do show, it turns out after unnecessary phone calls, is the name of the nursery that produced them. Attention to detail???”

“I ordered 2 large shrubs and they were delivered a week after placing the order. Both were exceptional in quality and the carrier was brilliant. However having placed the order I id not have any update from Grasslands until the shrubs arrived. I suspect they do not have the staff to keep you updated so do not worry if you hear nothing after placing the order.”

“Very nice quality root ball laurel plants ordered and delivered promptly. My only issue that I was only advised of the delivery on the day and was never provided with any delivery day options. As a result the plants were left on a pallet on my driveway whilst I was out and which I found when I returned home. This was an order in excess of £400 so I think this aspect or the order could have been handled better otherwise a 5 star review would have been provided”

“I purchased 9 Portuguese Laurel, 2 Bamboos and various bags of compost for delivery to south west Scotland. The online ordering was straightforward and prices were extremely reasonable. Delivery was free for an order over £400 (some postcodes excluded). The items arrived on a pallet and were well packed and secure. The laurels were rooted in string bags with enough soil to keep them healthy for the journey and the bamboo were in pots. All in great condition. They are now planted in metal tubs and doing well. If there were an area I would improve on it would be communication. I did not receive any delivery info until I chased after a week. The customer service were great once I got in touch.”

“The plants were great and look really healthy, were really well packaged so undamaged. We planted them the same evening so hopefully be ok!! However we were given a link to track the delivery but not a tracking number so unfortunately we were out when they arrived. Luckily our neighbour took them in for us as the delivery driver was going to return them to the depot, don't know if they would have survived that!!! So if the tracking number had been emailed to us so we could have arranged to be home it would have been 5 stars as the ordering was easy and plants were fab!!!”

“Tried to contact the nursery by phone but as had no luck called in on my way up the M6. Very helpful member of staff answered all my questions and made some suggestions too. I placed my order online and my two trees delivered a few days later. It would have been helpful to have some idea of the time of delivery but the trees arrived with another friendly person and unloaded with care. Super trees and can’t wait for the soil to dry off a bit to get them in.”
