“I purchased 3 sarcococca confusa from the Grassland. Two in 2 l pots were healthy, though of smaller size than on advertised images. The large sarcococca in 4 l pot was covered in white powder, looks like the powder mildew. I tried all ways to get rid of the mildew, but it is still on all leaves. Very disappointed!!!”

“Ordered a pleached tree with a 3 week delivery date and it arrived in 2 days. The tree was healthy and looked just like the photo on line. It was delivered by their own driver and carried it round to the back garden for us. Unfortunately for me, we have had the storms and the tree has taken a bit of a battering. I’m just hoping the tree will survive all these winds.”

“This is a great company- they give good prices, they are responsive, they keep you updated, they deliver when promised and their product is absolutely fantastic. We have bought hedging and trees from them several times and the quality is right up there. They also deliver all round the country and we use them due to the combination of the above and we live a way up in Scotland.”

“Fantastic customer service from start to finish. Always answer the phone and are happy to help with any enquiries. Emailed us with updates at every stage. Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. The plants we ordered (Portuguese Laurel) were very healthy and look lovely in our front garden. We made a large order so it was a little difficult to gauge how many we would need. Grasslands were happy to give us a refund for the few we had left over which we thought was very reasonable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for plants. Highly recommend.”

“I had to obtain a number of quotations from several nurseries, and the response from Grasslands was by far the best and most professional. The 11 large trees we received today were exactly what we ordered and of very good quality. They were delivered long-distance at exactly the time predicted. The delivery drivers were very helpful to our contractors with the unloading. I had to make a number of calls to Grasslands and all were answered promptly and very helpfully. Altogether, a faultless service - thank you very much!”

“I ordered 9 x portugeuse Laurels, they arrived on a lorry, with no supporting packaging, and were dropped onto my drive causing multiple small branches to break. When planting and releasing the cloth netting, the soil and roots were bone dry. The plants were good quality, but needed a lot more care and attention in packaging and delivery driver. G.Palmer”
