“The trees arrived are very healthy specimens however the delivery was not great. Trees had been removed from pallet and laying on floor of van. Soil around the footballs was dry as dust. Plastic wrappers had been removed and one tree had lost its rootball completely”

“Items arrived as scheduled and helpful driver, Alan was handling the products with care. These thujas, along with compost and the essential mycorrhizal fungi were delivered in good order. All planted the same day - alas the driver had departed when the diging began, but all good. Seems to be a quality selection of 1.8m - mature - specimens. All nicely bagged up as ball roots TIP: do not remove the netting bag -it will rot! Customer happy - next stop, watering and encouraging to 'mesh' into a super hedge, self-limiting in height.”

“I used Grasslands for the first time to buy a number of bare root Portuguese laurel 80 -100 cm high, after losing our fence in recent storms. I was extremely pleased with the original order so decided to place a second order for another 30 plants. They have an excellent tracking system for the delivery and I knew exactly when it would arrive. The plants were in general larger than expected and good quality for the price. I really only have one minor negative which was that the plants in the second order were less consistent in size and a number of them had very small roots, visible as I had removed some of the large unsightly sacking knots, which you do not need to do. I hope that with care, these plants will survive and this will not stop me from using Grasslands again.”

“My laurel trees were delivered with great care. Delivery guy carried them into my garden for me. They were even better looking and taller than I anticipated. Would definitely use Grasslands again.”

“Very helpful from the beginning. I rang as we were going on holiday and didn't want the trees delivered then. This was no problem for them. Delivery driver texted to say he would be with us in half an hour which we found very helpful. We had been told of the day they were out for delivery. The driver carried all the trees into the garden and was very polite and helpful. The trees were lovely very pleased with them.”
