“The cheapest pleached trees we found, wasn’t sure what the condition of them would be like but we was delighted when they arrived! Great size, condition and very helpful delivery man who carried them into our back garden (my husband is in a wheelchair). Highly recommend”

“I bought a multi stemmed amalanchia and was very pleased to find it. I had it delivered to Leeds, so the total cost to me was about £150. When it arrived, I was disappointed. It had three main stems, but they had not been pruned correctly so they were growing across each other. If I pruned it correctly now, I would only have one stem left. I have had to try to rectify the problem by putting in three linked tree stakes and bending the branches outwards. I can understand that if this was one of the last plants available, it might not be the best. Considering it’s poor form, I think it should have been sold as a second at a discounted price.”

“Plants arrived damaged. I contacted Grasslands immediately: via phone and email. I also sent images. Over the course of six days I was first told to plant them anyway, asked to send more images and told a manager would be consulted. I asked for the plants to be returned. I wasn’t offered a refund or replacement. I’m an avid gardener who very regularly buys plants - mostly directly in-person from garden nurseries, but I’ve made about half a dozen online purchases. I never had to ask for a replacement or refund. The customer service I received is really disappointing.”

“My hedging arrived as requested after Easter and they were carefully packed onto a pallet. It was an easy process to purchase on line and have them delievered and I would use Grasslands again”

“Ordered 10 of the large cherry laurels. Healthy bushy specimens, arrived on pallets and rootballs in large pots topped up with compost. The delivery driver Alex was excellent and advised me on how to get them out of the pots and plant - ie tip them on their side , loosen and remove compost so you can take rootball out of pot, roll rootball onto a tarpaulin so at least two of you can drag move to planting position. This worked well , especially moving from drive through a 3 foot garden gate, we then carefully rolled each plant. Great price, especially with bulk buy discount. Would definitely use again.”

“I purchased 9 cherry laurels and one red robbin bush they all arrived very healthy looking mature bushes and grasslands kept me informed about delivery date and time frame Also very pleased with price as iam not trade the driver put the plants where directed”
